ABOUT US

TNE ProPainters is a family owned and operated professional painting company. In the Summer of 1998 Nate Jones and his late Father Tom Jones followed in the footsteps of Tom's father, Woodrow Jones, by starting their own business. Nate's grandfather on his mother's side was also a professional painter and his grandmother on his father's side did a lot of painting on her own. So, painting has been in the family for a long time!

 

Nate & Tom began providing professional quality interior and exterior painting services to the Washington, DC Metropolitan area as a Father & Son team. Years later we gained an addition to the family: An adorable little black puppy of a labrador/chow mix. We began to take her with us everywhere, sometimes even the job site.

 

Soon enough she became the company mascot (If we could only find a way to tie a paint brush around her tail and let her help us work!). It wasn't long before the three became a great team! Always together and never leaving each other's side. 

 

In 2007, Tom Jones suffered from a massive stroke and was disabled to the point of being wheelchair bound. On December 2, 2012 Tom passed on due to complications from the stroke and other health issues.

Now, it's just Nate & Ebby. But, the memory of Tom and the times we shared together will always be with us. So, in honor of Tom Jones and his dog Ebby, we've titled the company name "TNE ProPainters" (TNE: Tom, Nate, Ebby.
